  • Communications, including the content of emails, text messages, voicemails, and any documents or photos you send us.
  • Payment and billing information when you pay for services. Payment card data is processed by our third-party payment processor and is not stored by us.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Perform mold remediation, small particulate cleanup, demolition, follow-up care, and other services you request.
  • Coordinate with your IEP, healthcare providers, and other contractors when you authorize that coordination.

3. SMS / Text Messaging Program

Restored Roots Remediation operates an SMS (text messaging) program for current and prospective clients. This section explains how the program works, how you opt in, and your rights.

How You Opt In

You may enroll in our SMS program by texting a keyword (such as "JOIN" or "START") to our business phone number, (360) 838-6653. By texting the opt-in keyword, you provide your express written consent to receive recurring text messages from Restored Roots Remediation at the mobile number you texted from.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Restored Roots Remediation.

Types of Messages You May Receive

  • Appointment confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling notices.
  • Project updates, including arrival times, scope changes, and completion notifications.
  • Follow-up care reminders, including 12-month follow-up communications for SPC clients and warranty-related check-ins.
  • Customer service replies and answers to your questions.
  • Occasional informational messages related to your project or our services.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your project status and your interactions with us. You should expect messages primarily during active projects and at scheduled follow-up intervals.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier will apply to all messages sent and received. Restored Roots Remediation is not responsible for any charges from your wireless provider.

How to Opt Out

You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying "STOP" to any text message you receive from us. After you send "STOP," we will send you a confirmation message and will not send you any additional text messages, except as required to confirm your opt-out. If you want to rejoin the program later, you may opt in again using the keyword described above.

How to Get Help

For help or questions about our SMS program, reply "HELP" to any message you receive from us, email aimee@restoredrootsremediation.com, or call (360) 838-6653.

Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is compatible with all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy of SMS Information

No mobile information collected through our SMS program — including phone numbers, opt-in status, and consent records — will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing related to the SMS program is limited to subcontracted service providers (such as our SMS platform provider) that support the operation of the messaging program, and only to the extent necessary to deliver messages and maintain the program. These service providers are contractually required to protect your information and may not use it for their own marketing.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to provide our services and operate our business, including with:

  • Service providers and subcontractors who help us deliver remediation services, manage scheduling, send communications, process payments, host our website, and operate our SMS program. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Your authorized partners, including your IEP, healthcare providers, builders, or other contractors when you ask us to coordinate with them.
  • Government agencies, regulators, or law enforcement when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights.
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to the protections in this Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, and analyze how visitors use our pages. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect site functionality.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No system is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted over the internet or stored in any system.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide services, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with our legal and contractor licensing obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Project records are typically retained for the duration of any applicable warranty period (up to 3 years for source remediation) plus any additional period required by law.

8. Your Rights and Choices

  • You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying "STOP."
  • You may unsubscribe from email communications using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us directly.

Our website and services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before sharing any information.
